An explosive incident rocks the vicinity of the Israeli embassy in New Delhi, miraculously leaving all staff unscathed.

An explosion occurred near the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi on Tuesday, causing concern and triggering an investigation into the incident. Fortunately, no staff members were killed or wounded, and there is no information suggesting harm to anyone on the street.

The blast took place in a tightly controlled neighborhood housing government buildings and diplomatic missions. Security personnel and local authorities swiftly responded to the situation, cordoning off the embassy and conducting searches in the surrounding areas.

Teju Chitri, a security guard at a nearby government languages training institute, reported hearing the explosion and seeing smoke near a tree.

Israeli Embassy spokesperson Guy Nir confirmed the incident, stating that the blast occurred in proximity to the embassy around 5:20 pm. Local police and security teams are actively investigating the cause of the explosion.

Despite the blast, all embassy workers and diplomats are reported to be safe. Israel's deputy head of mission in New Delhi, Ohad Nakash Kaynar, assured that security teams are cooperating with local authorities to further investigate the matter.
