The third batch of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients have arrived in the UAE
The aircraft, including the patients and their relatives, took off from Al-Arish International Airport in Egypt and touched down at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Included in the group are 93 youngsters who require immediate medical attention, including those with serious burns and injuries, as well as cancer patients who require prolonged care. Under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's orders, they were flown into Abu Dhabi to treat 1,000 wounded children and 1,000 Gaza Strip cancer patients at UAE hospitals. "The third flight of the initiative reflects the UAE's unwavering and continuous support for the brotherly Palestinian people," stated Maha Barakat, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Health. "It aims to assist the most vulnerable groups and the deteriorating health sector in the Gaza Strip." She emphasized that the help would continue to lessen the terrible humanitarian situation in Gaza and said that all cancer patients and injured people will receive the best care possible from UAE hospitals.
