The "Most Beautiful Photo and Video Reel in Hatta" competition is introduced by Brand Dubai
Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has introduced the "Most Beautiful Photo and Video Reel in Hatta" contest in partnership with the Hamdan International Photography Award (HIPA) as part of the inaugural Hatta Festival campaign. The campaign, celebrating Hatta as a vibrant culture, sports, and family entertainment destination in Dubai's picturesque mountain region, was announced in collaboration with the Supreme Committee Overseeing Hatta Development.
The competition encourages Hatta Festival visitors to capture moments with their families, document unique natural places, engage in activities, and showcase tourist attractions in Hatta, a highly visited destination. Ali Bin Thalith, Secretary General of HIPA, emphasized the significance of visual storytelling in driving positive change and highlighted the partnership's aim to highlight the beauty of Hatta's heritage and history.
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, expressed the joy of collaborating with HIPA to showcase the beauty of Hatta during the festival. The competition provides an opportunity for both professionals and amateurs to creatively document these aspects through photography, emphasizing the role of photography in preserving beautiful moments.
The competition is open to all categories, allowing participants to submit photos or videos by uploading them to their personal Instagram accounts. Contestants must follow @HIPAAE and @BrandDubai, use the hashtag #Hattafestival_HIPA, and tag HIPA and Brand Dubai accounts on Instagram. The competition will remain open until December 31st, coinciding with the end of Hatta Festival activities, with cash prizes awarded to the winners of Best Photo and Best Video Reel.
The Hatta Festival runs daily from 3 pm to 9 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 10 pm on weekends, offering visitors traditional performances, light shows Emirati cuisine, and numerous cultural, sports, and entertainment activities. The campaign is part of the #DubaiDestinations initiative, organized by Brand Dubai, aiming to provide information on unique winter vacation experiences in Dubai and promote major attractions during the winter season. The initiative encourages residents, visitors, and the creative community to explore various locations and destinations in Dubai during the winter months.
