Hamas looks to "brave" Pakistan to put an end to Israel's crimes in Gaza
Ismail Haniyeh, the senior political leader of Hamas, called on Pakistan, a "brave" country, to step in and put an end to the continuous crimes committed by Israel on Wednesday. Speaking during the national forum on "The Sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Responsibility of the Muslim Ummah," which took place in Islamabad, he stated that "the perpetration of cruelty could cease if Israel faced resistance from Pakistan." With optimism for Pakistan's assistance, he called the nation "brave" and home to mujahideen, or those who defend Islam. During the Majlis Ittehad-e-Ummah Pakistan event, Haniyeh emphasized that among people who strictly follow the Holy Quran, there is resistance to Israel. The Gaza Strip's embattled coastal enclave is governed by Hamas. Israel and Hamas began fighting on October 7, when Hamas launched an all-out attack on Israel. More than 16,200 Palestinians have died as a result of Israel's ruthless military and aerial attack on Gaza, the majority of them were women and children.
