Emirates cancels flights to Chennai, India, due to severe floods
On Tuesday, Emirates briefly canceled flights to Chennai, India, due to excessive rains brought by Cyclone Michaung, which flooded the airport and drowned numerous portions of the city. The UAE carrier warned on its website that flights on Monday and Tuesday will be disrupted. The airline went on to say that they "are monitoring the situation closely and aim to give customers as much notice as possible if there are any further changes to operations".
