During the World Green Economy Summit in 2023, WGEO and UCLG Africa Formed a Strategic Partnership
The World Green Economy Organization (WGEO) and the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG Africa) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the World Green Economy Summit 2023, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to promote sustainable development and green initiatives throughout the African continent. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was signed by Mr. Jean Pierre Elong Mbassi, Secretary General of UCLG Africa, and His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of WGEO, represents a critical turning point in cooperative efforts to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) stated in the 2030 agenda.
