As police carried out a search warrant, a massive explosion devastated at least one house in a suburb of Washington, DC, according to the authorities. Police in Arlington, Virginia, reported that shots were fired from within the residence as they attempted to enter just before the detonation. Before this, police stated they had been called in regarding a flare gun being fired from a house on Monday night. Only minor injuries were reported by responding officers.
