In a heart-wrenching turn of events, David Contreras, a resident of Miami, Florida, utilized his home's doorbell camera to make a harrowing confession to his wife, revealing the tragic demise of their son amid a heated altercation.

Video footage unveiled the distressing scene where the 52-year-old Contreras confessed to the fatal shooting of his 22-year-old son, Eric, in their Miami home in November of last year.

"I shot him. He's not breathing. He's dead," Contreras uttered to his wife, moments following the fatal incident on November 3, as reported by the New York Post.

The footage portrayed Contreras overwhelmed with anguish, seen crouching on the ground with his hand covering his face in despair. "The fighting on the way home was unbearable," he expressed.

In a moment captured on camera, Contreras pleaded with his wife, urging her to call his brother, amidst his profound distress. His wife, sobbing, responded, "he'll go to jail."

After the conversation with his wife, Contreras promptly dialed 911, disclosing, "I just shot my son."

Upon police intervention at Contreras' residence, Eric, a student at Florida International University, was discovered deceased from gunshot wounds, as detailed by the New York Post.
