A fire broke out At the Saddar mobile market in Karachi, Pakistan

After hours of concerted effort, the fire that broke out in Karachi's Saddar mobile market has been successfully extinguished, according to fire brigade authorities quoted by ARY News.

The blaze ignited in the early morning at Saddar Shah Jahan mobile market, rapidly spreading to multiple shops and posing a challenging situation for authorities. In a swift response to the emergency, five fire tenders and two water bowers were deployed to combat the fire.

Rizwan Irfan, the President of Saddar Electronics Dealers Association, reported that over 100 shops in the market suffered damage, resulting in losses amounting to millions of rupees for the traders. Despite the presence of a fire safety system in the market, the fire quickly engulfed the shops.

Efforts to bring the situation under control are ongoing, with the fire brigade resorting to breaking locks and shutters of the shops to extinguish the fire. Authorities are working diligently to ensure the safety of the area and its residents.

In a separate incident, a deadly fire erupted at the multi-story Arshi Shopping Mall in the Ayesha Manzil area of Karachi, affecting several families and traders. Furniture shops in the mall caught fire, leading to the engulfing of several residential apartments and 130 shops. The fire turned numerous jewelry and garment shops into ashes in the multi-story building.
