The most polluted city in the world title still held by Lahore

With an average pollution measurement of 230 on Wednesday, Lahore maintained its position as the most polluted city in the world, according to ARY News. The Punjab Environment Protection Department's statistics on air pollution show that Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam, with a value of 424, continues to be the most polluted location. At Mall Road, the AQI recorded more than 400 air pollution readings.  313 AQI readings were observed in Lahore Cantt regions. The populace has been instructed to use face masks when visiting public areas by the caretaker Punjab administration. The five types of pollution that are used to compute the AQI are particulate matter, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and ground-level ozone. An AQI grade of 150–200 is deemed unhealthy, 201–300 is more detrimental, and 300 and above is severely dangerous.
