Pacific International Lines and DP World announced an agreement to collaborate on developing green solutions for global supply chains

Pacific International Lines (PIL) and DP World have agreed to work together to create green solutions to decarbonize global supply chains. The arrangement brings together DP World, which handles around 10% of global container traffic, and PIL, a renowned Singapore-based shipping operator.  The firms may assist in expediting progress toward their common goal of net zero GHG emissions by using one another's capabilities and knowledge. At the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mr. Tiemen Meester, Group Chief Operating Officer, Ports & Terminals, DP World, and Mr. Lars Kastrup, Chief Executive Officer, PIL, signed it. They pledged to fight climate change and work toward achieving net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 or earlier.
