Google unveils Gemini, their largest and 'most powerful' AI model
Google will unveil its largest and most competent artificial intelligence model on Wednesday, as demand increases on the firm to explain how it plans to commercialize AI. Gemini, the huge language model, will come in three sizes: Gemini Ultra, the most capable category; Gemini Pro, which scales over a wide variety of jobs; and Gemini Nano, which will be used for specialized applications and mobile devices. For the time being, the business intends to license Gemini to clients via Google Cloud for usage in their apps. Beginning December 13, developers and corporate clients can use the Gemini API in Google AI Studio or Google Cloud Vertex AI to access Gemini Pro. Gemini Nano will also be available for use by Android developers. Additionally, Gemini will power Google products like its Bard chatbot and Search Generative Experience (SGE), which attempts to provide conversational-style text responses to search queries (though SGE is not yet generally available).
