12 eco-friendly initiatives are on display by Dubai Police at COP28
As part of its pledge to achieve zero emissions by 2030, the Dubai Police has displayed 12 green initiatives at COP28, ranging from the world's first-ever ambitious zero-carbon force to eco-friendly bullets. Top officials emphasized that the force aligns with Dubai's mission of developing a green economy and encouraging sustainable development. It also intends to offer new initiatives and apply sustainable practices within the security and enforcement sector. It also includes the Wastewater-Based Epidemiological Monitoring program, which examines data and information from the sewage system as early indicators of infectious illnesses, and the iServe project, which focuses on clean energy and sustainable mobility. The goal of Dubai's Resilient Programme is to increase the city's ability to foresee and manage risks, especially those related to climate change, potential threats, emergencies, and crises.
