UAE President Meets with Qatari Prime Minister
The meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, commenced with His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani conveying the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan warmly welcomed His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, during his working visit to the UAE.
The meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, commenced with His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani conveying the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar. He extended wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the UAE. In response, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed his warmest greetings to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, expressing hopes for further development and prosperity for Qatar and its people.
The discussions between His Highness and the Qatari Prime Minister centered on reinforcing the fraternal relations between the two nations and exploring avenues to enhance cooperation and collaborative efforts for the mutual benefit of both countries. Additionally, the leaders delved into various regional and international matters of shared interest, exchanging views on these issues.
The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser. Also present were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, and H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region.
The high-level gathering also included H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhboot Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the State of Qatar.
Accompanying the Qatari Prime Minister were members of his delegation, including Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior, Dr. Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UAE, and several other senior officials. His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani had earlier arrived in Abu Dhabi, where he was received at Al Bateen Airport by H.H. Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser.
